Q:Do I get any support ?

A: You may not get the type of 365x7x24 helpline support that some distros offer, but in case you have a situation you may write to us at bhavyasoft@yahoo.com , we will try to get back as early as we can , you may also look in the bhavyasoft group that should be started soon , since it is basically RH 9 you may also talk to other RH users, Red Hat is however not going to give any support to BhavyaOS. Also since BhavyaOS is a beta (testing) software there might be lot's of things to fix-up, just bring to our notice any bugs you might find , we will try to clean them up.

Q: Does it come with any warranty ?

A: Absolutely none , Read the license terms in the file copying on the CD to know the conditions and terms of use, you also have a few responsibilities .

Q: When will be the next release ?

A: Ah! Do not ask that so soon, we wish to follow either the kernel update or the KDE update, also we will try to catch up with RH releases, but, anyway every release will always be a beta .

Q: Why take RH for the base ?

A: Well, when we started, it was a difficult choice to make, however we choose RH for the following reasons : 1) There are other similar projects for other distros eg. Knoppix for Debian, Virtual Linux for Mandrake, SuSe has it's own SuSe Live Eval, There is actually HPA's Super Rescue based on RH but we believe its based on an older RH version. 2) RH has excellent package management and also a good set of configuration tools.

Q: How can I contribute ?

A: If you are a programmer in C, C++ , perl , Python etc. you may look at the source code and come up with better stuff , You may send your own programs for inclusion, you may fund our activity by buying BhavyaOS and other linux CDs , that way we will get some money to keep this activity alive.

Q: Why is this site on freewebs without dedicated hosting ?

A: Thanks for asking, the straight answer is we cannot afford anything more, anyway freewebs allow excellent stuff without any advertisements . If you like to see better times for BhavyaOS and of course us, buy our BhavyaOS and other Linux CDs , that will get us some money (?) . The CDs are really cheap, you will love having them.
