For the love of these beautiful animals..................
Welcome to BGB Horse
Service and Rescue
We are a family run organization in Rexburg Idaho. We take in abused or abandoned horses and find them homes. We care about these majestic creatures and want them to have the life they deserve.
Giving horses a second chance to share their love with people of all ages.
We also break, train, board and cover many aspects of horse training and service. We work with special needs adults and children and give them the opportunity to love and grow both with their physical and mental needs. Everybody and everything needs to be loved.

We have several horses that will remain here for life. "Pete" the shire above ,will be a life long resident. His owner was diagnosed with cancer and family could not take care of him. Buckshot was born here after his mother came here, then she died shortly after his birth. Both Pete and Buckshot work with the handicap and elderly.
Olympus is beautiful but has leg problems. He needs braces for the front legs which we just purchased. He needs therapy. He will remain a resident until he completes therapy.
BGB ....... Stands for Barely Getting By. That is what most of these horses are doing, until someone reaches out and cares for them.
Everybody and Everything deserves a second chance. That is why we do what we do.

Todays economy has seen an increase in abuse, abandonment, and the inability of taking care of horses. We are all accountable for each other, and that includes horses. They rely on us for love and care, just as we have relied on them for work, livelyhood and so much over many years. We can't just turn away and pretend it does not matter. It does. They deserve respect.

Krystal was just place in a beautiful new home!! Great owners!!
