  • Inulin powder: it's slightly sweet and it is a good source of fiber.  It's great for smoothies.


meal stuff

  • frozen pre cooked chicken breasts: i like the great value brand cuz they're cheap and only 110 cals each "breast"
  • mushrooms!!!  they're really low cal and don't stand out as diet food in peoples minds
  • barilla plus: if you're going to eat pasta at least get extra protein and such. i think this is great for soup (about 50 cals worth is plenty)
  • celery: a negative calorie food!
  • frozen veggies: easy to prepare and store, few calories, lots of nutrients and fairly inexpesive
  • frozen meals: a quick and easy way to get a lot of variety in the foods you eat with out over doing tha cals
  • tuna: great source of protein and tastes great right out of the can
  • salad greens: always a diet staple
  • egg whites/egg substitute: lowcal and high protien
  • fat free cheese: at only 35-45 cals each, they make a low guilt treat and they're great for salads!!
  • coldcuts or luncheon meats: if you look around you can find some really low calorie ones as little as 10 cal per slice

snacks

  • sugar free pudding: at sixty cals each this is great dessert
  • 100 cal popcorn packs: they're HUGE!!
  • celery: a negative calorie food!
  • dill pickles: about zero calories per serving!
  • splenda: great sugar replacement
  • sugar free jello: delicous and easy, a perfect dessert and only 5 cal per serving
  • 100 cal snack packs: very satisfying b/cyou can actually eat the whole bag, tasty too!
  • fruit cups sweetened with splenda: walmart has the great value brand, nice and cheap and only 33 cals each!
  • fat free pringles: have a funny after taste but they're pretty good

drinks

  • water
  • great value brand sugar free orange early morning rise: like an oj sbstitute, it's delish cal free and has a TON of vitamin C find it walmart
  • light n fit water: SOOOOO yummy calorie free and like 25% of ur daily calcium needs!!!
  • tea: nothing is better on a cold day especially when ur eating mostly cold foods
  • diet soda: this is my drug of choice!!! it's a great way to avoid too many liquid calories. try ones that don't say "diet" such as fresca
  • kool aid: get the powder and sweeten with splenda, make a really great frozen treat
  • Fuze slenderize: only 10 cals for the bottle and they're a sweet treat they taste like dessert and have an appetite surpressant in them
  • low cal, high vitamin drink mixes (meant for a water bottle) by strum foods:
    • fulfill: tons of vitamins, zero cals, clear in color and lightly sweet flavor.  good for working out
    • morning spark: 5 cals a pack with caffine and vitamin C.  comes in a few flavors
    • replenish: calorie free after workout beverage with electrolytes!!!
    • poweredge: 5 cals a serving, like redbull but waaaay cheaper

condiments and seasonings

  • garlic powder and onion powder: i'm not too fond of spicy foods so i use these to season EVERYTHING
  • splenda: great sugar replacement
  • no calorie cooking spray: you'll save yourself a lot of calories
  • bullion cubes: makes great soup and the hot broth can be a great filler by itself
  • miracle whip free: you would not beleive how bad mayo is for you!! save urself from the guilt
  • zero calorie dressing: can be hard to find but they are a dieter's dream! use them on salads and to season meat!

non food essenials essentials

  • scale
  • measuring tape
  • vitamins: even if your not restricting your diet very much, they're a good idea
  • ketosis test strips: get the kind that will tell you ur ketone and bood sugar levels to see what kind of fuel ur body is burning
  • tight clothes/revealing bikini: to gauge progress
  • pedometer: makes it easier to gauge your activity level
  • blender: smoothies and soups are awesome when you make them yourself! check out my recipe page!!!
