I would diet but i hate diet food!!

just because you don't like some veggies doesn't mean you can't diet here is some advice:
  • mind your attitude: don't come with the mindset of "yuck, diet food."  just because it's low cal doesn't mean it's gross just try to be open minded
  • try different brands: don't like diet pepsi? try diet coke or fresca or diet sprite or kool aid with splenda there's an option for everyone
  • often times low sugar or low fat options ae close to no fat or no sugar options as far as calorie content is concerned but are waaaaay better tasting
  • diet food doesn't have to be bland try seasoning with herbs and spices to help keep you from getting bored

I would diet but i cant live without...

There are lower cal alternatives that can help you overcome your cravings
  • salty snacks: try dill pickles, fat free pringles, 94% fat free buttered popcorn, hot water and bullion cube
  • cheese: try baked cheetos (in moderation!), fat free cheese,
  • sweets: light and fit yogurt, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, sugar free gum, flavored water
  • chocolate: no sugar added fudgesicles, sugar free pudding

I hit a plateau and can't lose any weight

Plateaus can be very discouaraging especially when you feel like you're trying your hardest and nothing will make the scale budge here are some tricks to try
  • DON'T GIVE UP! it will pass eventually, i promise
  • drink an extra cup or two of green tea every morning to help ur metabolism or take green tea or guarana pills for a few days to get ur metabolism up
  • change ur excersize routine at least for a few days.  if u normally run, try the stair master or biking.  When you do the same excersize all the time your body gets too acustomed to it
  • start weight training! more muscle means more fat burning (and no you won't look like like a man, that takes a lot of hard work and testosterone)
