Bexley Deanery Third World Group

Bexley Deanery Third World Group

The Bexley Deanery Third World Group started twenty-five years ago and consists of members from churches in the local deanery of Bexley. Through the support of these parishes we were able to sponsor six projects and send each cause £1500, in 2006-7. (Please note that all our sponsored projects have no, or little, recourse to other funds and are in areas of little, or no, state aid.) Money is raised in a variety of ways: through collections, personal donations, 200 Clubs and charity events.

The churches represented are:

Our Lady of the Angels, Erith

Our Lady of the Crays, Crayford,

Our Lady of the Rosary, Blackfen

St John Fisher, Bexley,

St Lawrence, Sidcup, and,

St Thomas More, Bexleyheath.

Bexley Deanery Third World Missionary Statement

The Deanery Third World Group exists to respond to needs of Christ’s workers around the globe whose voices reach us through the sensitivity of many parishioners in the Deanery who act as an essential link between those working as the hands of Christ and those of us who can put something in those hands.

it will be dealt to you in return."
