Beginners Courses

FREE FIRST SESSION

Beginners are advised to train in loose clothing (track suit, shorts and t-shirt).

However, before beginners attempt their first grading, you will be required to purchase a Gi (karate uniform). And eventually other protective equipment, including shin instep guards and hand mitts. It is advisable for senior students to purchase groin and chest protection.
*note, all equipment is available through clubs so don't worry about trying to find it!*

Westhill
Beginners course limited places for juniors. Open number of places available to students 16 and above. All skills and abilities are welcome. Starting January 2009. No obligation to join. Free gi on purchase of membership. Please call our secretary Leeann on 07891843102 
Held once annually look out for advertisements, or get in touch and we shall keep you informed.         

Eastbourne
We are currently welcoming beginners. Contact our secretary Martyn May on 07871276062 for any enquiries or just turn up.

Upcoming Grading

The next gradings for Hastings & Bexhill dojo will be in December. Dates will be announced in due course.

If you cannot attend a grading at your dojo for any reason, contact your Sensei, who may give you permission to grade at another club according to their own discretion.
