It’s not everyday that gods from ancient past come round asking for your phone number. So when it happened to me, I was stunned, needless to say. At first Sgäth was sweet, in an extremely creepy way. He materialized one night at my job carrying a striking black rose, a dazzling smile, and an insinuation of a blurred, yet torrid, liason from long ago. Funny thing was, it wasn’t just his deranged obsessions that made me say, no thank you. I had enough men on my plate. Obtaining Hunter alone, was enough to satisfy me entirely. Without him, the repetitious tempest in the twilight of my life bore me down, steered me off-course into the corrupt, worldly oblivion of frenzied seas. Hunter appeared as an intense gleaming light that fulfilled me, wrapping me thickly in a blanket of cheer and contentment that was nearly tangible. He stood as the lighthouse on the shore, bringing light to my sorrows, disbursement to my seas of redundancy, and guidance through the velvety night. I valued his friendship dearly. And then there was Nathaniel. He’s a stripper down where I work. There’s a bond between us; an indescribable, perhaps indefinable, something. Unfinished business to say the least. I long to learn what will transpire betwixt of us all, but I fear for what it may signify later on…
