Why I like working with home buyers:

Owning a home is a very rewarding and worth while proposition.  Along with building equity and tax advantages comes a sense of pride and independence that can only be felt when you  turn that key and walk into your first home. It is an important milestone in ones life and should be looked back on as a special time and not a stressful, frustrating experience not to be repeated.  That's where I come in. As a Realtor, I know the landscape of the business and can prepare you for the hills and valleys that are associated with a normal transaction.

Most people enjoy looking for a home, it is a fun experience going through homes getting ideas and seeing what is out there. It's when you find your home and the negotiating begins that things start to move quickly and can get out of control.  There are many people involved in a transaction and very little time to accomplish all that needs to be done. The normal transaction will be conducted in a 30-45 day period following the acceptance of an offer. The biggest factor driving this time period is the amount of time the buyer has been locked into a rate by the bank.

The people involved in a normal transaction are: Listing and Buyer Agents, Seller and Buyer Attorney's, Mortgage Agent, Mortgage Underwritting Dept., Home Inspector, Title Examiner, Appraiser, Fire Inspector, Closing Attorney, Any Contractors to perform negotiated tasks or services.  As you can see it will only take one person to not follow through to slow down the entire process. The contract to purchase will spell out what needs to be done and in what time frames these tasks will take place.  As your buyer agent I will make sure we are getting our tasks done as well as monitoring the other people involved making sure they are performing their assigned work.

My goal is not to sell you a house but to make you a client for life. I want to be the person that you turn to when you or someone you know needs a Real Estate question answered .  Much like the network of trusted professionals that I use and refer to clients, I want to be your Realtor.

Please use the following pages to get more comfortable with what it will take to buy a home.
