Welcome to the website for the youth group of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
The next NYI meeting will be held on May 31th after church.
We're planning on having a game night on May 8th at 7pm. We're planning on having Guitar Hero among other things. I would recommend showing up.
I'm glad to announce that we are once again doing the 30 Hour Famine. There were two weekends scheduled by World Vision. The first was the 27-28th of February (which we are obviously not doing), and the second was the 24-25th of April. We are planning on doing it then, but we may have to move it. I'll keep you updated. here. We're also already planning on doing this again next year.
Also, we're looking for any non-strenuous community outreach/service projects to do on the Saturday. If you guys could check around for some available for us on that day and let Jason know, that would be awesome.

17-18th of April 15th-16th of May now.
We're planning on having a bbq welcoming the new batch of 7th graders coming up to the group on June 26th, though this date may change. I'll update when I get more information.
Okay, the last date we had set for this kinda fell through, so we're now planning on doing this probably in June or July, once everyone is out of school.
We're planning on doing our annual camping trip again this summer up near Pacwood. I think we're shooting for the 14th-16th of August, but we'll have to see.
Plans are already in the works for our winter retreat. We have the same place booked that we went this last time and we will be going the same time, Martin Luther King Jr. weekend 2010. For those of you that haven't gone before I would highly recommend you do. It's a lot of fun. I'll update the costs and everything once I find out.
Alrighty, lately it's been suggested to me that we have something on the site so people can submit stuff, and so they can add stuff to the site. Well, I've been playing around on here lately and I stumbled across where you can set up a forum, so I thought I would give it a shot. I had set up a basic version of a forum the other day, but I have a newer, better one up now. To see it, click where it says "forum" in the navigation column. I have the information for it on that page so check it out. I would love to see that being used and see the youth group communicating and keeping in contact, especially as we're getting all these new people coming up this year.
