I started Betheder Modest Clothing, in the hopes that it might fill whatever need there is for modest clothing for ladies and girls, at reasonable prices, as I appreciate that it can often be a challenge to find modest clothing, especially if, for whatever reason, you are not able sew your own!

The name Betheder comes from Hebrew. I understand "Beth-" is 'house of-' as in "Beth-lehem" = "House of Bread", and "Beth-el" = "House of God". "eder" is 'flocks' or 'herds', thus "Betheder" = "House of Flocks/Herds".

A little about me:
I am a daughter at home. I help take care of the handful of animals that we have on our few acres in the Southland region of New Zealand. I enjoy many activities including sewing, knitting, spinning, weaving, reading, cooking, baking, and other 'home-keeping' activities, as well as having an interest in natural farming, poultry breeding & genetics, sheep & other farm animals, herbs & herbal medicine, etc. Thankyou for visiting!
