When I first joined PTRs I thought they were a little fun and some spending change on the side was nice, but then I became addicted to them, and after I realized how easy it was to get referrals and HOW MUCH MORE you earn with just a few active referrals, I MAKE OVER 350 a month with only about 2-3 hours of effort each week. It's like I receive a nice bonus check each month for working at home in my pajamas only 8-12 hours each month! You really can't beat that. YOU CAN DO EVEN BETTER than that if you get more referrals who also refer others and they are all active!
Earning with PTR (paid-to-read) programs is very easy and most people find it fun, but it's not incredibly lucrative.
HEY ... WAIT!!! If you have a few active referrals you can double, triple, OR MORE your monthly earnings! Most PTRs pay you a % what your referrals earn, some on a few levels. Some programs pay up to TEN LEVELS of referral activity! In this modest example, you almost double earnings. Imagine if you refer 3 people just as active as you, who also refer 2 others. Let's do the math: if the 1st level pays 15% and 2nd level 5%, and each earns 10 per month, you'd earn
MyLot.com is a forum-type community. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first sign up, but you can just take things slow. The first thing I recommend doing is to check out where it says "Interests" (which should be located near the top of the page towards the left of the screen, usually under a banner, but if you are having trouble, this link should work for you:
Simply click the little "Add" link next to the category and some selections will appear, and then hit the (+) to add it, which is a green icon on my screen above the interest you are selecting.
I recommend writing a discussion just so you can see how it works... It can be very fun and addictive if you like this kind of site!
Of course, there is a category for MyLot.com itself, and many newbies go there to ask questions:

At the top of the page you can see a link that says "New Discussion." That should take you to a page which shows some of your interests, but you can also select "General Discussion" at the very bottom of that page if you are unsure which category to write into.
