B.E.S.T. MARANATHA PUREBRED NUBIANS

We have a small herd of show quality purebred Nubians that roams over about 15 rolling acres in Burlison, Tennessee. We have been breeding Nubians for over twenty years and participate in the American Dairy Goat Association programs of Linear Appraisal and DHIR milk test. We strive to produce healthy animals that milk well, have correct structure, proper breed character and are basically quiet.
  Even though our herd shows no symptoms of CAE, kids are hand raised on heat treated colostrum and pastuerized goat milk. We have  tested the herd for the genetic defect G-6-S and sell only normal bucklings.

SEVEN of our home-bred does have qualified for the SG or SGCH award. This award is based on being in the Top 15% of Nubians according to the Production/Type Index ranking and is based on DHI Production testing and Linear Appraisal type evaluation along with Show Ring competition.
