We are based in beautiful rural Shropshire Countryside which is only 10 minutes drive from Shrewsbury

Best Friends Grooming Salon was established in 2004 by Jessica & Ginny Steward. 

This family business was set up with the aim of offering a professional but friendly dog grooming service where people are happy to leave their dogs.

 Originally the salon operated from a barn conversion in Bicton, Shrewsbury before we decided that we wanted to own our salon instead of renting. We had a double "re-location - re-loaction" as we not only moved the salon but our house as well! We wanted more land for our dogs so we opted to move to a more rural location which made it possible for us to achieve all of our dreams. The new grooming salon has been purpose built and specially designed to our exact wishes. We wanted to create a salon that was friendly yet very professional. Our new salon was opened in 2007 and has since gone from strength to strength.

 The team at Best Friends are all very experienced dog owners who have turned their passion & love for dogs into their career. Between us we have experience in dog agility, obedience, showing and breeding. Our other experience with animals is also very varied including horses, small animals & even our resident Alpacas!  

We fully understand how precious your dogs are which is why we always treat customers dogs with the utmost care & respect that they deserve.

 We limit the number of dogs that we groom so that each dog gets plenty of time and attention
