- Designed and implemented Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for the American Red Cross Badger Chapter in Madison, Wisconsin. Successfully used by the Red Cross in responding to the Stoughton, Wisconsin tornado in August 2005.
- Served as an elected member of the Disaster Recovery Institute International Certification Board from March 1999 through March 2002.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional since 1990.
- Two-year term on the Survive Advisory Board, London, England.
- Founding president, Business Recovery Planners Association of Wisconsin.
- Corporate-wide directorship of BCP for a large, Wisconsin-based
financial organization with nearly 6000 employees throughout
North and South America.
- Successful implementation of BCP in several disaster
events, including those surrounding September 11,
2001.
- Disaster response testing programs that are known to be
aggressive. These tests involve both businesses and government
agencies and include multiple site testing, community emergency
