  Bere Regis (Formerly: Purbeck Panthers) Colts play in the Dorset Youth Football League (DYFL-2008-2009, Under 15's). The majority of the team have been playing together for the last 5 years. They enjoy playing the game as a team, and although they like to win, they do not lose heart even after a heavy loss. They have won only 8 matches in the past 4 seasons, but still can't wait for the next game to come along. To me they epitomize the phrase:

"It's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts". 

It is a pity that there are not more teams like them.
