The great man himself. Ulysses, his son Telemachus and his friends left the base at Troy for what should have been a routine journey to Earth. However the gods had other plans. His son was captured and held prisoner by the disciples of the Cyclops. The only way Ulysses could free him was by killing the Cyclops and thereby incurring the wrath of the gods. The punishment meted out to Ulysses was to have his companions put into a deep sleep and his navigation system wiped of the route back to Earth. Ulysses has to use all his cunning to survive the trials set by Zeus, find the route back to Earth and lift the curse befallen his companions. With his figthing skills and his laser sword ,and his energy shield .He is a formal foe to any body who attacks his freinds or family .

Telemachus is the son of Ulysses. When the gods put the crew of the Odyssey into suspended animation Telemachus assumed the role of second-in-command and, in spite of his youth, made a remarkably good job of it. His skills as a pilot are called upon on numerous occasions, most memorably in Trapped Between Fire and Ice, where he saves his father's life by lassoing his shuttlecraft after it was caught in the Charybdis-Scylla complex. He is extremely resourceful and forms a close bond with Yumi after her brother falls under the gods' curse. Telemachus's skills complement Yumi's and together they make an almost invincible pair, saving the day when Ulysses finds himself in dire straits. In Secret of the Sphinx Telemachus and Yumi save Ulysses by using the Mirror of Truth against Hirmaini; in Song of Danger the pair come to Ulysses's rescue after he is captured by the Sirens; and in The Lotus Eaters they save Ulysses after he is laid low at the foot of an erupting volcano after eating some mind-altering seeds. With his fast thinking he has got him and his family out of tight spots .

No-No is Telemachus's robot. He makes his debut by bursting forth from Telemachus's birthday cake in the pilot episode, Vengeance of the Gods. From that point on the two make an inseparable pair. For the most part No-No is the comedy sidekick, but in The City of Cortex he gets to shine as he plays a more prominent role. His human qualities, while present in every episode, are explored more deeply in this story where he has to choose between his friends and his new-found love, Nanette. No-No's loss in The City of Cortex is paralleled by Ulysses's own loss after a whirlwind romance in Calypso.

Yumi is the younger sister of Numinor. She comes from the planet Zotra, also known as the White Planet. Although not part of the Odyssey's original crew when it left the base at Troy on its journey to Earth, Yumi and her brother Numinor join up in the pilot episode, Vengeance of the Gods, after Ulysses rescues them along with his son, Telemachus. Yumi escapes the punishment meted out by Zeus in revenge for the death of the Cyclops and plays a very active role as a member of the Odyssey's crew. She is exceptionally gifted, and possesses strong telepathic and telekinetic powers. These powers, along with her intuition and no-nonsense approach, help get her friends out of a number of scrapes, particularly in Mutiny on Board, where she uses her powers to temporarily lift the curse from Numinor, almost sacrificing herself in the process, and Song of Danger, where her intuitive dreams provide a solution to a rather nasty problem.

Numinor is from the planet Zotra and is the elder brother of Yumi. He and Yumi were captured and held prisoner by the disciples of the Cyclops in the pilot episode, Vengeance of the Gods. They met Telemachus when he was held in the same cell and were rescued by Ulysses. Unlike his sister, who escaped the curse of the gods, Numinor spends most of the journey through Olympus asleep along with the rest of Ulysses's companions. In Mutiny on Board, Numinor and the other sleeping companions are revived by the gods who use them to take over the Odyssey and steer it towards the Reefs of Space. Yumi uses her powers to briefly lift the curse so that Numinor can help in the fight to restore order. Numinor is also revived in The Lost Planet, in which the Odyssey visits the Seventh Satellite of Zotra, and in The Magician in Black, where he, Ulysses and Telemachus are forced to play a dangerous game in an attempt to win the freedom of their companions.
