Bennettswood Raskals are a Guiding Unit in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are part of a larger network of units throughout Victoria, Australia and the Rest of the world. For more information about Guiding at a state level, please visit the state website: http://www.guidesvic.org.au We are a 14-18 year old Unit who meet once a week, on Tuesday Nights from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. We do a range of activities, run by the girls, based on the 7 Guiding Fundementals (Promise and Law, Guiding Traditions, Outdoors, World Guiding, Leadership, Service, Patrol Systems).
The Unit is completely run by the girls themselves, with jobs shared equally. The Unit has a Chairperson, a Secretary, a Treasurer and a Webmaster. Supporting the girls in everything they do are two very capable Leaders, who are there to assist the girls in their endeavours and be the responsible adult at all events.
