2008 is finally upon us, and the Bennettswood Raskals resumed for another year with a marathon 6 hour meeting. As well as sharing the stories of our many escapades which inevitably occur over the summer break, we did manage to get some work done.
The meeting started with a 'normal' Unit Council, spectacuarly Chaired by the wonderful Allison.
We also programed for the first semseter (which will be posted as soon as I recieve a finalised copy).
After a fulfilling meeting everyone is raring to go, and we have an exciting couple of weeks ahead of us. The first big event of the year will be a Thinking Day Celebration, to be held at the Bennettswood Hall on February 19. The Official Ceremony will be organised by the Raskals.

The Bennettswood Raskals celebrated the end of a very sucessful 2007 with a trip to Volcano Joe's All You Can Eat Resturant.
After we had eaten all we could eat, we also distributed K.K. presents, as well as recieved presents from the Unit. Our fabulous Leaders, Alex, Lisa and Tracey gave us a pair of tie-dyed socks, in raskals colous of course!!
We also officially fair-welled two of our members who are leaving us as Youth Members. It isn't quite that easy to get rid of them though as both girls have agreed to stay on for a little while longer.
All in all it was a perfect end ot a great year.
