Belson Baseball league

Welcome

News
The Ligers played their 4 th game of the season on Saturday against the struggling Knights. Jeremy Thaler pitched 5.1 brilliant innings, allowing only 2 runs on 5 hits for his second win of the season. Manny Dumaz also pitched in, getting his league-leading 7th homer and 17th RBI of the season.  The Ligers scored their second-lowest amount of runs in the season, but still got the win (their lowest was a 5-1 loss to the Red Hawks.)  Utility man Don Granto made his first appearance of the season and got the loss.  Players who are not listed as pitchers will pitch sometimes because of the lack of bench players.
The next game is a mid-week game between the Ligers and Red Hawks.

Welcome to the Belson Baseball League website!  This site is a new one.  Please see the league info page for teams and other information, and be sure to sign the guestbook!

The 2007 season is now underway.  Each of the three teams play 20 games each. eam that only plays on game a week. One team plays two games a week and the other 2 play one.   There is one weekend game in a week and a mid-week game.

Update:  There has been no games the last three weeks because of weather.
