Belly dancing is a great way to exercise and have fun at the same time. Exotic Middle Eastern dance steps and music make belly dance a totally different and exciting way to get fit. Jingling hip scarves and finger cymbals provide flash and percussion.
This type of aerobics is suited to the female body. Historically, it was developed in the Middle East by women partly to promote healthy muscles for childbirth. Belly dancing moves/steps work not only the cardiovascular system, but also tone major muscle groups in the arm, abdominal, and leg areas.
Jen teaches all levels and uses lots of props: finger cymbals, canes, candles, veils, baskets-fun!
