Who I am:
People are too complex for words to paint them faithfully, but words can draw an outline. My outline can be sketched thus: a spiritual, creative, honest, open, compassionate, bisexual (by choice), polyamorous, partnered, nuevo-gypsy, Georgian, curvy body-positive, fiercely individualistic, anti-porn, pro-nudity, pro-sex feminist/equalist, nudist, aquarian (gemini rising), genderfree female-bodied person. (shading and colors are added here) The qualities I'm currently building up in myself are fearlessness, faith, and creativity. I'm very aware of the dark brokenness of the world, but choose to focus on the sparks of beauty and work to create more light and love. Small things make me incredibly happy, and I'm always giggling -- or laughing so loud that everyone in earshot can't help but glance over. I enjoy wandering the passages of my own mind and am never bored. I keep my body hair, rarely wear makeup (and when I do it is wildly colorful & expressive), wear mismatched socks & running shoes with everything, and always wear long dangly earrings of my own design. I love my lush, curvy body; I dress it in comfortable, form-fitting, colorful clothing (death to 'fashion'!), and eat to fuel my body (never to change my shape). When I grow up, I want to travel half of the year and spend the rest in a low-impact woodland house, next to a pool, on land of my own, and be naked all the time.

Why I'm here:
I use LJ to explore and express myself, and to connect with others who do the same. I strive always to learn more of myself and the world so that I can share and connect with more people. My most intense passion in life is to learn, in order to grow, and to grow, in order to love - more deeply, more freely, more openly. I believe love is my purpose for being. The more I love people, the easier it gets, because I come to understand them more, and when you truly understand a person, it's the easiest and most natural thing in the world to love them. I believe that at core we are all amazing, glorious spirits of incalculable worth. We all have a level of brokenness that keeps our spirits from being able to shine as they were meant to, but every act of love ripples out a wave of healing.
I'm always open to new connections: people who are headed in the same direction and could possibly link paths with me. I seek open, honest people, who share themselves freely, love fearlessly, seek to grow continuously, and consider their true selves to be the most beautiful being. People who inspire me, show me new perspectives, stretch my mind and my heart. People who resist the ideals thrust on them by the media and learn who they really are, all assumptions stripped. People who see the pain and darkness in the world but still believe in life, love, spirit, beauty.
