This website is dedicated to persons with disabilities who are looking for ways to express themselves and share their writing talents. Two years ago Sanford Rosenthal created a weekly phone teleconference geared specifically to the writer with disabilities called Written Word Partyline Workshop which we attend several sundays in a month at 7pm CST/8pm EST.
Our guests include authors, poets, publishers and journalists, these professionals not only tell us about their experiences but listen and respond to our questions with insight and knowledge that help us further our goals. As a result of the teleconference our group has been successful in getting an anthology of our works together entitled "Behind Our Eyes", which is now published and available through IUniverse.com, BarnesandNoble.com and Amazon.com in paperback and hardcover. For those with low vision or who are totally blind the anthology has also been recorded for NLS in two cassettes, #RC 65632 and three Braille volumes, #BR 17432 and for RFB&D in their special Daisy format on CD #DT-JC850; a special player for the CD and membership to RFB&D are required.
