Banister Bros & Co Limited has specialised in woven textiles for over 100 years.  In recent times worsted fabrics and cotton wool shirting fabrics have been our main running lines.  Following the decision to outsource the weaving of all fabrics we are now competitive in most woven textiles as we are no longer tied to a single production unit.  Listed below are our main products  but we are pleased to receive any enquiries and will be happy to point you in the right direction  if we are unable to help.

We have specialised in 100% worsted crepe for the past 25 years.  Made from pure new virgin merino wool and dyed in this country.  Black and Navy are available to sample ex stock or coming round.
5-15 metre samples are available by request in any colour.
Specification:  150 cm wide, 330 g/m, 100% wool, dry clean only.

Basic Price is £7.86 for 200 metres. (discounts for larger quantities).
Dyers surcharges for smaller quantities are as follow

0-60 metres             £4.00 per metre  (excluding sampling)
61-140 metres         £1.60 per metre
141-199 metres       £0.80 per metre

Our second major fabric.  Made from pure new virgin merino wool and dyed in this country.  Available, prepared for print, dyed to solid colours, finish only or printed.  Black, Navy, Finish only, and prepared for print available for sampling ex stock or coming round.  5-15 metre samples are avilable by request in any colour.
Specification: 137cm wide, 165g/mt, 100% wool, hand wash with care or dry clean.

90%cotton with 10% wool for warmth.
Specification: 90%C10%W, 150cm wide, 210g/mt, machine washable.
Designs are to customers specification and may include tattersalls, tartans or other woven designs.
Price is colour dependent and available on application but will be in the range £6-£10 for orders of 200 metres or more.

100% pure new virgin wool, 150cm wide, 280 g/mt.

Designs to customers specification.  Price available on application.  As a guide, approx £9.00 for orders of 200 metres.
