I created this piece for my sculpture class at Brookdale College. it started as an organic sketch that we had to then make 3D. i constructed it with a heavy wire armature, chicken wire, paper mache, paper pulp, and wood putty.

This sculpture I carved out of a plaster block. Its a lioness done in a style to be reminiscent of ancient Egyptian art. Its painted with goldleaf and adorned with real hieroglyphics.

This sculpture was made from copper piping, thick metal wire, and a bunch of found objects.

I modeled it after Chinese dragons.

The first step in making this sculpture was sketching a live model. Then i created the armature out of wire. Then it was papier mached, then painted with gold leaf.
