HIM are Finland's leading goth mettalers!!!
Ville Hermanni Valo and his friends formed “His Infernal Majesty” in summer of 1995. This year they recorded a few demo songs (there were such songs as Borellus, Serpent Ride and The Heartless). In 1996 in Finland was released the first single "666 ways To Love: Prologue". Then in 1997 HIM bring out debut album "Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666", a first great step on the way to world glory was made... That time the members of the band were: Ville Valo - vocals, Mikko Paananen - bass, Mikko Lindstrom - guitar, Antto Melasniemi - drums and Luhana Rantala - keyboard. After there were singles, concerts, clips and, of course, work. New drummer - Gas Lipstick - and new keyboarder - Zoltan Pluto - appeared. In 2000 year they released the second album "Razorblade Romance". And again HIM was having a lot of concerts, was recording new singles and so on... In the beginning of 2001 Burton replaced Zoltan.
The band has 4 Albums and a lot of singles.which were released in different countries. It's not large discography but it is just the beginning... They recorded songs on such studios as Rockfield, Peacemakers, Finnvox. With every edition HIM's sound becomes better.
Day after day the five guys from Finland become more and more popular in all over the world... They play concerts in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Greece, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Sweden, Slovenia, Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Russia and else) and in USA. Their songs and albums take first places in different charts. And all fans wish they play more and more new songs, which with every new day will become better and better!
