I started writing poetry when i was 13. My parents were separated, cancer was hitting my family hard, i was back and fourth home to home with no father figure in my life.. I used blank pages in my notebook as my outlet, somewhere i could hide away from all the bullshit going on in my life, fill it up with memories. I never felt that i had to compete with anyone because it wasn't anyone's business.

I was always, and still am into sports, thts where i let my frustration out. Thats where the competition really goes down. You can't beat me at Golf. You can try your VERY hardest, but ill always make sure that i do better than you. Period.

Between the competitiveness of sports and love for poetry, i was at a crossroads. My passion for tournaments, matches every other day, traveling across the U.S.. that lifestyle was hella fast. I needed to slow down from that one track mind.

That mindset of "kick their asses" soon developed into "let's work together". January 2012 i picked up all of those old poems, rewrote a few, and started making tracks in my bedroom. My outlet soon became my passion.

Hip Hop isn't a competition for me, like it is for alot of people. Its my way of life & something i can do every single day and keep learning, along with improving.

Im no Saint. I do have that competitive gene in me, so from time to time i like to show & prove. But these lyrics are my LIFE, so who do i have to prove anything to? No one.

And that, my friends, listeners, subscribers, haters & supporters.. is what sets me apart from the rest.

I do it for the pain, not for the fame.

after about a year and a half of hard work pushing this poetry out on beats & serving it to you via .mp3

and today i can honestly say i can die happy knowing that my blood and those who support me are proud of what ive done.

this has never been about money or fame, some got that twisted.

there was a hole in my heart, God & Music filled it up with that bombay smoke ive been coating it with.

sending out a bunch of music today to some local So Cal based independent labels. lets see if someone wants to financially back this franchise.

everything has been free up to this point.. i make music because i love to, not because i am forced to. if we didn't have poetry and good art in this world, we would be in chaos..

This track was recorded at Ghosthouse Studioz

Off of my first mixtape "Promotional Purposes: Vol.1"

Featuring Grinchent Van Gogh and Cali Chriss.

I wrote this track out of love for the plant Marijuana. I'm all about the 420 lifestyle & so are the homies.
