Kendra Mei Chailyn
Born on the small island of Jamaica, I moved to the cold, white north at the age of thirteen to believe it or not, get a better education in hopes of a better life. But before I moved, boredom had already thrust me into the romance reading phenomena. At the age of eight, my need to read and curiosity sent me under my mom's bed for the old (yes really old) Mills and Boons and that's where my love of romance first started. Now I write Inter-racial romance (IR).
I think I write IR romance because of my insane (almost obsessive) love of cultures and that makes me insane to my friends but that's why they are my friends and they love me
.
At lot of people have asked me what music I love to write to: Anything to get me in the mood of the story..Luther Vandross, Robin Thicke, Il Divo, AC/DC, Justin Timberlake,The Rasmus, Silk, Boyz II Men, Hinder, Justin Guarini, Jonas, Rammstien - you name it I've probably listened to it or its on my "to listen to while writing" pile.
In my spare time, I love reading, writing, trying to sing, acting, hanging with my friends, music and bugging my best friend's brothers.
I am a graduate of Radio Broadcasting (Tster rules!) and I am currently perusing my BA in Communications Studies with a minor in Dramatic Arts.
Kisses & Moonlit nights,

Unlike Kendra, I got stuck being born in a small tourist town in Southern Ontario. Surrounded by trees and quite a few dirt roads, reading soon became a definate passion of mine. Taking the hypothetical page from the College hand book, I quickly moved on to Northern Ontario where I met Kendra.
From the first day of Radio Broadcasting we basically became inseparable. Spending our Wednesday nights at the Moose (a local club) and our Thursdays and some Friday nights kareoking at Partners (a bowling alley/pool hall). Kendra would entertain me with her writing and ever since then we have been talking about writing something together.
Since Kendra's computer died and she lost the first story, we began working madly on a second "Save Me"
Now even with the two of us far apart eight months out of the year, Kendra and I keep in touch and torture each other just as if we were back living five minutes apart.
Save Me will be coming soon to Red Rose Publishing!
Thunderstorms are a girl's best friend,
