1. First Impression
My very first impression is that Tini sucks at being my
first review, because I know I'm going to be somewhat
biased xD. Hehe. Anyway...
I really love the colors on Tini's layout. They don't
blind my eyes, and they're very warm...She did a nice job
with that. I noticed the text is a bit small, but I can
still read it, so it's not a huge deal. I really like the
text that she used to write "Belle Addiction" as well.
The welcome is short and sweet, and tells me what to
expect. Points: 8
2. Coding / Homepage Layout Coding:
After a quick glance at Tini's coding, I found
that she's very organised and the coding is very easy to
understand. Definitely someone I could steal from and not
be confused....Wait, what? Homepage:
I really love everything about the banner. The
only complaint I would have is the font and size of the
words "ft. Emma Graham", but that's just my personal
opinion. I love the texture to the far left that makes it
look like her face is on a tee shirt, and the floral
brushes are pretty and well-placed. Very nicely done,
Tini! I like that she has a "New Update" box at the top,
but I think the text needs to not touch the sides of it.
It's too far left, but once again, that's really just my
own opinion. I really like that she has an image map
navigation to the right as well as a sidebar to the left.
It makes the layout less cluttered, so hooray for that. Points: 10
3. Visitor Content Banners / Blends:
I was a little disappointed, as I was
expecting more after seeing how great Tini's homepage is.
The best is probably the Hayley Williams one, most
likely because it's the most recent. Icons:
These are a lot better than the blends, both in
quality and quantity. A lot of them are simple, but she
executed them nicely. Premade Layouts:
These are really a hit or miss. Some of
them, like the Hayley Williams, Dolly Evans, and Escape
the Fate are really good and nicely coded, but some
others look like MS Paint was her friend and she was just
learning how to code. It seems like she knows this,
though, as she has a re-do list. ;) Wallpapers:
Same thing with the wallpapers; hit or miss,
newer is better. Points: 12
4. Other Pages Site:
-About Belle x Addiction:
Everything is well organized.
I like that she tells the meaning of the site name, when
she was hosted, and other information about the site. She
has a short "about me" with just enough information. Her
past layouts are all very pretty, all better than her
premades. Personally, I think her current one is her
best. ;D
-Pending Projects:
Pretty much just a long ass list of
things she wants to complete, probably within the next 20
- 30 years.
-Presents: This is where she links to all of the
presents she has gotten from her affiliates. Hey look,
I'm on there! This is really nice of her to keep track of
these. :D Requests:
Ruh roh, they're closed. Let's pretend they're
open and I want a request...She gives enough room and
options for me to tell her exactly how I envision it
without being talented myself, where usually requests
involve stating a celebrity you want. She has a list of
complete and pending requests, which shows that she
actually does complete them. Link Back:
She has A LOT of buttons to choose from to go
with any site. I like the variety of sizes and styles. :) Exits:
A list of her affiliates. Hey look, there I am! Points: 10
5. Spelling and Grammar:
I obviously didn't read everything because I'm really
lazy, but from what I did read, her spelling and grammar
is just fine. She doesn't use chatspeak, and my inner
grammar nazi was not awakened during the process of this
review. Points: 5
6. Bonus Points!
I'm on her top affiliates ;D +1
7. Overall:
In all, I think Tini has a really nice site! My only big
complaints are the coding / quality of her older layouts,
some of her banners/blends need work, and to work on
making everything a hit. Oh, and too much Audrey. Not
enough BILL HADER. ;D
