Welcome, we are a Stud and rescue for rabbits and Guinea pigs , run as a hobby not as a buisness who have now ventured into offering boarding for your beloved pet rabbits and guinea pigs due to the number of requests for this service from people who have re homed or bought our animals.

 We run this from our family home set in 2 acres of land near the Villages of Cold Norton and Latchingdon in Essex .  All the rabbits and guinea pigs live in our stable block which is shut everynight to keep them warm and safe.

I do not believe in small hutches so you can be assured we will have a big enough hutch to suit your pet we can accomodate any size rabbit from a small Polish to a very large Continental Giant in one of our 2ft by 7ft hutches. All you have to do is bring your pet and a bag of food when they come to stay as a sudden change in food could upset your pets stomach. 

We will do the rest, you can be sure your pet will get the dedicated attention  it needs and be fed and watered every morning and evening , we skip out the hutch every day and fully clean and disinfect the hutch a minimum of twice a week. 

We have owned small animals for over 25 years and you can be assured your pet will be in good hands and have the best care possible .

A care plan will be specially tailored to each individual pet, We offer Shavings and Soft chopped barley straw with dust extracted for bedding (Dengie Medibed),  dried dust free grass (GrazeOn Northern Crop driers), and hay for forage feed (good quality local bale hay). And a selection of veg and fresh food .

Any special requirements  other than the above must be stated on booking so we can cater for your needs.

Now the serious stuff....

If your bunny is not well , has a temperature , runny nose sneezing etc.. we cannot take them in for boarding as we cannot put the other rabbits here at risk. If  your rabbit should become ill during its stay and needs medical attention we will take it to Edgewood Vetinary group which has a small hospital 5 minutes from here whom we have used for years. You will be responsible for all fees incured unless it is for an injury sustained here.

If for any reason your pet should be put down while on holiday which if you cannot be contacted , will be the vets final decision, we will bury it here within the grounds unless you state otherwise.

Should your pet pass away while in our care we will not be held responsible unless a post mortum proves negligence on our part.

You will be required to sign a disclamer on dropping off your pet and you will take a copy for your records.
