My name is Bex and I'm 25 years old.  I've always had a passion for art and design and after doing my A-levels I decided to go and study fashion and textiles at college whilst doing my AS-level in art.  When I left I carried on designing and making my own clothes.  I had to put this on the back burner when I bought my first house as there was much work to be done! !

I have always had a love of bears which stemmed from my mum making me one when I was a small child. Since then my collection has grown.

I started making bears myself when I was about 15 but could never get them to look the way I wanted.  It wasn't until I had been to college and gained pattern making skills that I had the confidence to start up again.  I have been seriously designing them for 3 years now.

All my bears start complete from scratch from a hand drawn pattern,  I rarely use the same pattern as all my bears are one of ones, if I do I always alter the head, leg or arm shape to give him/her their own individual personalities.  All are make with time, patience and a lot of love.  I never know what my finished bear will look like or what he/she will be called until it is finished.

I started off making them for friends and family and have bears all over the country, Birmingham, Lincoln, Yorkshire and the USA to name a few places.  So I decided to put them onto e-bay. I am currently in the process of designing new bears for e-bay and also have various commission bears that I am in the process of designing.
