Plain cards, crochet and Stampin' Up Craft Day

Posted on October 17, 2010 at 1:44 PM

Because we've been busy with our fruit harvest and making all the preserves, I've not done much papercrafting.

This batch of plain cards is the most I've managed recently.

This is the new crochet shawl pattern I've made.  The photo's not too good tho'.

Zoë, our local Stampin' Up Demonstrator teamed up today with her colleage Emma to do another of their brilliant craft days.  We had a lovely lunch and made 6 items to take home.  I need to add a few gems and a bit of glitter here and there on mine still but even as they are, I'm very pleased with our days work and it was great fun too!

This is a domino pendant but the photo's got too much reflection to show it properly.

WOW haven't you been a busy bee. Your cards are fab, the different types of butterflies are great. You have so much patience with that crocheting, it looks beautiful. I love all your makes from your craft day, but especially the wee little handbag.

My goodness what a fantastic display of the most gorgeous artwork. I can't pick a favourite they are so stunning.

The cards are far from 'plain' and they look stunning. I adore the punches you have used that the images compliment the card colours perfectly. I love the added ribbon , it finishes them of brilliantly and really adds a touch of glamour and luxury.

And my oh my - lost for words to descibe your shawl - nobody crochets as beautifully as you do - it makes me wish I could have a baby just to own one of your creations LOL

What a magnificent amount of work you created on your crafting day. I am stunned at the amount you packed in. Looks like you are 'sorted' for Christmas now. Such original designs. Love the stamped wording - it looks really classy and had written.

I am lucky enough to own one of your domino treasures so I know how gorgeous they are in real life - and how hard they are to photograph - the heart really shows it off and the clasp you have used looks really classy. You just can't beat an original work of art - it makes you feel really special to own it, knowing that there is not a single piece the same in all the world
