So how can you help all these suffering animals? There are many ways, either from signing petitions, mailing your Prime Minister or those involved in the government, posting anti-slaughter posters on your website or ask pet stores if you can post a flyer there, etc. Or if you have the rescources and time, think about adopting or leasing a rescue horse, buying a horse from an auction, or volunteering at a local rescue centre. Another option is to sponser a horse over the internet or if you live near a rescue, then you can see the horse too. Sponsering a horse is donating to the rescue to help them take care of that horse. You can also make general donations to a rescue or even just give them some supplies such as horse brushes, blankets, fly spray, etc. Be creative.
