Saving a Draft Horse Rescue

"S.A.D. is a different kind of horse rescue. It is a Draft Horse rescue. Why Draft horses? We feel these gentle giants get forgotten about all too often. Many get used for work to the point of exhaustion and emaciation and are tossed into the meat ring of the auction. No one wants to put the time and money into getting these giants back into condition. Except for S.A.D......where we have dedicated the rest of our lives to the draft horse in need of rescue...a couple horses at a time for now..... an old idea that has finally come to fruition."
