Peregian Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is centrally located between Brisbane and Fraser Island, the world's largest sand Island and a major echo tourism attraction. The Sunshine Coast is renowned for its pristine beaches and unspoiled hinterland.

Peregian Beach is located just 8kms from Noosa Junction with its main shopping area and around 10kms from Hastings Street.

The beach is just 60 seconds from your apartment with 16 kilometres of fine white sand and a patrolled area for safe bathing.

Fraser Island is accessible by four wheel drive vehicle only (permits are required). The most direct route from Peregian Beach (providing the tide is out) is along the beach from the north shore of the Noosa River to Rainbow Beach. On the way you pass coloured sands (hence "Rainbow" Beach) the wreck of the Cherry Venture and Double Island Point. A barge departs from Rainbow Beach for Fraser Island regularly. The less adventurous can drive up the Bruce Highway to Maryborough and across to Hervey Bay (in comfort) to catch a ferry or vehicular barge to Fraser Island. Either way the trip will take about two hours. If you don’t have a four wheel drive vehicle there are plenty of operators who do.  We can arrange for you to be collected from Beachcomber and taken to Fraser Island for a day or even longer. The Islands many attractions include large fresh water lakes, pristine rainforest and miles and miles of beautiful beach
