TCAAT Opening Ceremony Invitation
Hey guys just wanted to let you know that the BCS principal would like us to attend our June tournament (TCAAT) Opening Ceremony. The Ceremony will be held from 9:00am -10:00am on 6/22 ( Sunday) in De Anza College. The whole team is required to go on that day, since we maybe playing games afterwards...we will talk more about this on 5/31, if you have any questions.
Looking forward to Summer
Well we didn't do too hot in our second day of tournament, especially without our starting center Howard, but we can only look forward from here on out and learn from past mistakes/flaw that we showed in our last tournament. So we have a couple of announcements for our summer team:
1) We maybe getting some additions to the team, don't quote me on that just yet though.
2) In the future, we can only bring a max. of 12 players to any one tournament, therefore we will use tryout methods to cut the team down. The rest will become part of our "practice" squad, who still has a chance of making the tournament team in the future, we will debrief next time we meet.
3) We may push practice over summer to 4 times a week instead of 3 to make it 12 hrs a week instead of 3, again don't quote me on that yet either.
4) We will most likely have team events which includes movies and what not to build team morale and chemistry, starting off with kung fu "panda", or some other movie, will be decided at a later time though.
Finally for those who will be participating in our summer team, we will be spending a lot of time together over the summer=)
