I am the founder and the Director Of Bethel Church Ministries Incorporated India(bcmi-India) & Bethel Evangelistic and Rehabilitation centre. I am from India, living in Elathagiri of Tamilnadu state. Bethel is an Evangelical Christian Evangelistic Ministry and a non-profit national NGO, with accountability and tax-exemption status.
Our purpose of this ministry is to take the Eternal Gospel Of the Kingdom Of God, to the Millions of poor rural people and unreached people groups and plant churches. India is swelling with more than 1000 million population and only 4% are Christians and one do not know how many names are written in the Book of the Lamb! 80% of this great population live in rural villages. Caste system, community rules, persecutions, staunch but blind faith are some of the diabolical chains that have bound the people.
The Field is getting hard.
The political parties, in fulfilling their election promises are pumping in welfare schemes to sky high. A high school student from 9th grade to 12 th grade will get an yearly allowance of Rs.6,000/-. And an unemployed youth will get a regular pocket monthly allowance till he finds a job. A pregnant woman will get Rs.1,000/per month. Besides, Free T.V sets, Free Gas Stoves and free lands to the landless were distributed. Housing loans, Micro loans, free Electricity to poor homes and free electricity to agriculture are provided.
All
these are bottle necks for a rural non-christian man or a woman to
adapt to the new faith. They will loose all these benefits, if they are
converted to Christianity.

I am a faith worker for the Last 40 years. I know what it is to live by faith. The ministry of the Gospel is both word and deed. It is becoming a new trend that our western churches are taken to a new theology of "Trusting God" and "God Will Provide". We know that. It is high time that we get serious and in spite of all these darkness, to go onward winning souls.
