Tri-State Book Expo - Evansville, Indiana - September 27, 2008 from 9 AM to 4 PM (central time) - Went well; I didn't sell a lot of copies of my book, but I made a lot of new friends and some great contacts for information/publishing.

Blue Moon Art Gallery - Vincennes, Indiana - August 1, 2008 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. (eastern time) - Went great; made a lot of good contacts and sold a few copies of my book!

Watermelon Festival - Vincennes, Indiana - August 2, 2008 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. (eastern time) - Went better than expected!! I sold out the remainder of my books left over from the art gallery the night before and was seen by my hometown (very important to me).

Will keep everyone updated on more to come! Hoping to get another event in before the end of the month, but no guarantees!

Waldenbooks - Decatur, Illinois - April 5, 2008 from 2-4 (central time) This signing went reasonably well considering that I was incredibly sick during it and it had no in-store promotion prior to the event. The manager still invited me back for another signing at a later date, hoping that a little promotion next time might better the sales.

Waldenbooks - Champaign, Illinois - April 12, 2008 from 2-4 (central time) - Overall, I was very pleased with this signing. We sold half the copies the store had ordered, and I must have handed out over three hundred bookmarks. It turned out to be "Mom's Weekend" at U of I, so that was a bonus. The manager invited me back for another signing later, and I signed the remainder copies she had left.  There had been several customers that said they wanted to read the excerpt online before they comitted to buying the book. I was okay with that.

Now for some much needed time off. Four book signings in a row was a bit overwhelming and really drained my batteries.  I have no events planned for May or June, though I begin scheduling in advance for July here soon.  Work on Sister Dark is coming along nicely, Bllod of My Blood has been postponed due to "creative differences" between the story and myself , and the Abigail St. Michaels' Series is currently being overhauled and polished.  I am also working on a new fantasy novel, Untitled as of yet, that is shaping up very nicely so far, and it is demanding some attention.

I hope everyone's May and June are filled with blue skies and their own adventures, and I will see all of you soon!

March 2008 Calendar

Waldenbooks - Terre Haute, Indiana - March 22, 2008 from 2-4 (eastern time) -- This went so well last time, they invited me for a repeat! Another great signing! This one wasn't sold out, but it did go extremely well. We may have a had a few copies left by the end of the signing BUT I sold almost all my copies to people I didn't know and wasn't expecting!! I consider that a HUGE success.

Barnes & Noble - Evansville, Indiana/Henderson, Kentucky - March 29, 2008 from 1:30-3:30 (central time) -- This is my follow-up book signing after I had to cancel the one in February due to unforseen circumstances.

Waldenbooks - Terre Haute, IN, Honey Creek Mall - 2-4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (Completed! - Huge Success; A VERY big thanks to everyone who attended, supported me, and bought out the bookstore! Manager said they are STILL taking orders for my book from the bookmarks I handed out.) 

Waldenbooks - Mattoon, IL, Cross County Mall - 1-3 p.m. Central Standard Time (Completed! - Another Huge Success; Another HUGE thanks to everyone who attended, supported me, and helped to buy out another bookstore! The manager has assured me more books are on the way, and they will host another signing for me soon!)

Now a little time off for some much needed work on Sister Dark, the sequel to this novel, Sister Light!  I'll see all of you in February at my book signings in Evansville, Indiana and Bloomington, Illinois! Looking forward to meeting more of my fans!

I want to thank everyone who came out to see me, even the ones who didn't know they were doing so!! :) I'm taking a couple of weeks off to do some much needed writing, but will continue with another signing in late March!
