I have been principal and director of Butcher Children's
School, the elementary laboratory school for Emporia State University,
and
instructor in the department of Instructional Design and
Technology since 1981.
Butcher Children's School was closed in the spring of 2003 and I moved to a full-time position in the department of Instructional Design and Technology.
I officially retired from Emporia State University in August of 2006.
My wife and I have moved from Emporia to Muskogee, Oklahoma.

I will continue to teach online classes part time out of my home office
in Muskogee.

HERE ARE SOME OF MY GRANTS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
Spring, 1993: Developed and directed a Kansas Excellence In Education Grant from the Kansas State Department of Education for $53,000 to implement a Year-Round Education program, implement multiage grouping, and implement ABACUS, a computerized curriculum management program at Butcher Children's School.
Spring, 1994: Received a second Kansas Excellence In Education grant, in the amount of $26,000, to continue the implementation of a Year-Round program, multiage grouping, and a computerized curriculum management program for Butcher Children's School.
