ACADEMY SOCCER

U9 Girls & Boys

We will have two Open Practice sessions on June 23 and 30th at Dick Pharum Park in North Richland Hills from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Each player will need a ball, water and mosquito repellant. This park is located between Amundson Road and Amundson Drive and Main Street. If you are interested in joining our program please contact: Ken Harmon @ harmonk@aol.com

The pick up game?

Starting up again March 11
Remember when you just met down the road at the empty lot?
Most parents had no idea where you were, but still felt safe.
Someone showed up with a ball and the game was on.
Remember when stragglers showed up and the “highly debated draft” was held?
Remember when uniforms were hand-me-down shorts and torn t-shirts?
Remember when “Johnny”, on that critical scoring drive, tripped over his shoe laces?
Instead of criticism and jeers, everyone rolled on the ground laughing.
Remember when tempers flared?
They were quickly dismissed and the game continued.

Remember when the time clock clicking down was the sun setting and darkness approaching?
Remember when scores did not matter and your trophy was that bruise on your thigh?
