The Marine National Park in Malaysia that is open throughout the year.

The first marine park to be established off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Pulau Payar is endowed with a diversity of marine flora and fauna and many endangered species of organism and fishes dwell within the sanctuary.

The Normal way to get to Pulau Payar is from Langkawi, which is time consuming or from Penang Island, which has limited access.  Both of which give you limited time at the Island

Now you have the choice to reach Pulau Payar from Kuala Kedah (Min of 6 persons per trip) which require a traveling time of only 30 minutes, and thus having a longer time to dive, swim or explore this unique marine park .

Baung Utara Tour will be by speed boat, unless above 60 persons which will then be by Ferry.

Information Note : 

The Langkawi Standard option requires you to stay at the island for at least one night, two night being the norm.  Traveling time by Ferry from Langkawi to Pulau Payar is around one hour one way, with the traveler departing the hotel at around 8am reaching Pulau Payar at the earliest 10.30am.  You will depart Pulau Payar usually at around 2pm before getting back to the hotel at 5pm at the earliest.

The Penang Standard option also takes one and a half hours by boat with the only ferry at 9.30 am and departing Pulau Payar at 2.30pm.
