Conditions
The Condition these hens are kept in, is worse than you can imagine. A hen has once been found long dead in a NSW battery farm. Her claws had grown around the wire and immobilised her. She starved to death because she could not reach the food. They are born, they are debeaked and then after 1 day of life they are packed into cages with 3 to 7 other hens.
