I started listening to techno and psy-trance in the early '90s when a friend took me to a party called UFO: Urban Forrest Odyssey and have been hooked ever since. I have always been involved in music either as a guitar player in many bands or as an engineer and DJ'ed for many years under the name Psy Corrumba. I soon became addicted to the flow of energy between the DJ and the dance floor and the feeling of riding the crest of a wave of new music that no-one else had heard of, and being able to share it with party people like myself.
Raves and outdoor parties changed the way I listened to music. It became more than writting the next single and I saw how the people create the party, the atmosphere and the energy. Parties became my new reality, far away from the 9-5 work lifestyle, raves were full of colour, sound and escape.
New technology created the possibility of techno. People create techno.
