This will teach you how to install iATKOS v1.0i onto any PC/Laptop (With Windows Vista already installed)

How to install Mac OS X Leopard (iATKOS v1.0i) onto a PC. Ben Staker © 2008
Things you'll need:
iATKOS v1.0i.
Do not choose iATKOS v1.0iR2, and do not choose kalyway either.
A blank DVD-R
Maybe a DVD+R. Definately not a dvd-rw or a dvd+rw, it will not work!!!!!!!!!!!!
60Gb hard drive or more.
Make a backup of all your personal files.
Vista installation dvd.

Steps 1-29:
Step 1) go to start, type in run/or go to run, and type in 'compmgmt.msc', and click enter. 
Step 2) Click on disk management, on the left side.
Step 3) Right click on your desired partition, and click 'shrink volume'. It should atleast show half of your hard drive space, depending on how much space you have got.

Step 4) Make sure you can shrink it by atleast 15Gb (15000Mb), if you cant reach atleast 15Gb, go to:
control panel --> system and maintenance
click on'Defragment your hard drive', under 'Administrative tools'
click on 'defragment now'.
Be patient, this may take up to 3 hours, depending on how much disk space you have used. After it has finished, reboot your computer, then try again.
If the problem still persists, delete some unnecessary filesthat you dont really need, then defragment your hard drive again, reboot the computer. If you still cannot shrink it by 15Gb, email me on bass-2k8@hotmail.co.uk and explain your problem.

Step 5) Now you have an unnalocated space/partition:
Right click on it
Click on 'New simple volume'
Click on 'Next'
Click on 'Next'
Click on 'Next'
Now choose a name for the volume label, E.g 'MacOSXLeopard' EDIT: dont choose a name that has spaces or symbols in it, it will not aloow u to boot!
Tick 'Perform a qucik format'
Click 'Next'
Click 'Finish'.

STEP 6) I have been getting some problems on this part, where they cannot boot up from the dvd.
First of all, insert the iATKOS dvd, and reboot your computer. There is many ways on how to do this part. By the way, the countdown screen is Darwin Boot (Where it asks you to boot from)
Attempt 1 - On the countdown screen, just click enter.
Attempt 2 - On the countdown screen,press 'F8', and type in '-v', and click enter.
Attempt 3 - On the countdown screen,press 'F8', and click the escape button.
Attempt 4 - On the countdown screen,press 'F8', and type in '-x', and click enter.
Attempt 5 - On the countdown screen,press 'F8', and type in '-f', and click enter.

And if your case is just the bit where you get the 'System config file "/com.apple.boot.plist" not found'

Try this:
On the countdown screen, press 'F8', and type in 'cpus=1', and click enter.

UPDATE: I HAVE BEEN GETTING A HELL OF A LOT OF PROBLEMS ON THIS BIT, WHERE THEY CANNOT BOOT FROM DVD, AND I HAVE TRIED TO HELP THEM WITH EVERYTHING I CAN, BUT NOTHING WORKS FOR THEM, I ASKED THEM TO HAVE A LOOK AT 'Introduction to iATKOS' TO CHECK IF THEY HAVE ALL THE REQUIREMENTS.

Step 7) Once booted up, click on the '-->' button. It will now prepare the installation.

Step 8) When it comes up, go up to the menu bar at the top and go to
Utilities --> Disk Utility
and wait for it to load.

Step 9) On the left, look for the partition you just made in windows, and click on it.
Now in the middle, click on the 'Erase' tab.
It will now show three buttons 'Erase free space', 'Security options' and 'Erase'.
Click on 'Securitiy options' and choose 'Zero out data', and click apply/next/finish/done.
Now click on 'Erase free space' and choose 'Zero out data', and click apply/next/finish/done.
You will see a little loading bar at the bottom, it will take a while for it to complete, so be patient.
Once complete, type in a name for it, E.g 'Mac OS X Leopard',
Now choose 'Mac journaled' in the drop down menu above where you type in a name.
Now finally you click on 'Erase', and a menu pops up, Click on 'Erase' again.
Now quit Disk Utility

Step 10) Now finished with 'Disk Utility', go to Utilities --> Terminal.

Step 11) Once loaded, Click on the terminal window and type in 'diskutil list' and click enter.
It will now display your hard drive information.
Look for the mac partition you just made and write down it's details (look for something like this = 'disk0s2').
WARNING: Make sure you choose the right one otherwise it could damage your vista partition.

Step 12) Now that we have finished with terminal, quit 'terminal'.
Step 13) Go to Utilities --> Darwin boot.

Step 14) Once loaded, click on the window, and type in 'y', and click enter.
Now type in your hard drive number, Mac uses this system for choosing the hard drive number:
0=1, 1=2, 2=3, 3=4, 4=5, 5=6, 6=7, 7=8, 8=9, 9=10, etc.....
So if your Mac partition information was 'disk0s2', type in 1 (because of the Mac system above), and click enter.
Now type in your partition number, this time it's normal numbers, E.g 0=0, 1=1, 2=2 etc...
So if your Mac partition information was 'disk0s2' type in '2', and click enter.
If you have done it correctly it should say somewhere, the name that you gave the Mac partition.
Now type 'y', and click enter
Type 'y' again, and click enter
Once finished, close the darwin boot window, and quit terminal.

Step 15) Now it goes back to the welcome installation window:
Click 'Continue'
Then click 'Agree'
Choose your destination where to install Mac. Make sure you choose the partition that you just recently made
click 'Next'
and click on 'customize'




Step 16) Look at the picture below. As you can see they have different coloured squares on them.
Red Squares = Ones you have to choose

Yellow Squares = Optional ones, not required for the installation.

I recommend you to not choose the following:
Blue Squares = Choose which drivers you want to install, only choose one out of each catergory.

I strongly recommend you to not choose any of your drivers at this point, as it may interfere with your mac installation. You may feel free to install them later after installing iATKOS
And if none of your drivers are listed, do not pick any!
Then click 'Continue/Done', and click 'Install'.

UPDATE: ONLY DO THIS IF NONE OF THE ABOVE HAS WORKED FOR YOU:
I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT IF YOU ONLY CHECK 'iATKOS v1.0I Main System', AND EVERYTHING IN 'EFI Emulation', IT MADE ME BOOT UP PERFECTLY, WHERE AS IF I CHOSE ALL MY DRIVERS AND THE WIRELESS PATCH, IT DID NOT LOAD UP. TO GET THIS FULLY WORK, DO NOT CHOOSE ANYTHING ELSE, OTHER THAN THE ONES I HAVE TOLD YOU.

Step 17) Now it starts the iATKOS installation.
A message will pop up saying 'Checking installation DVD'.
You do not have to let it check it, just click 'Skip', to save about 5 mins+.

Step 18) After the isntallation has complete, coming up with a message saying 'Install Succeeded':
Click on restart, and your computer will reboot.

Step 19) Take out the iATKOS DVD, and go to boot up Mac.
If you encounter any problems booting up mac, go to Step 20)
And if you have done it successfully, go to Step 30).
Step 20) Leave the iATKOS dvd in, and boot from it again.
Click enter on the countdown, and it will boot up.
If it doesn't boot up, by clicking enter:
Go to the commands at Step 6)
And use them to boot up.

Step 21) Once full booted up, go to Utilities --> Terminal.
Step 22)
KEY:
_ = Space
X = Hard drive number. E.g rdisk0
Y = Partition number. E.g flag 2
Click on the terminal window and type in as follows:
fdisk_-e_/dev/rdiskX and click enter
flag_Y and click enter
update and click enter
write and click enter
It will now say 'Device could not be accessed exclusively'
type in 'y', and click enter.
q and click enter
Now quit Terminal, and quit the installation, and reboot
Once rebooted, take out the disk.

Step 23) On the 'Darwin/X86' countdown, Click enter, and it should boot up mac.
If the welcome video comes up, You may have a successful installation
And if the welcome video comes up with sound too, you are extremely lucky.
Dont worry if the welcome video doesn't, come up with sound, or even if the video doesn't come up at all, it will still come up with setting up your personal settings.

Step 24) Once the video has finished, it will come up with the welcome screen.
Choose your language
click 'Next'
It will now ask you what kind of keyboard layout you would like, choose it, and click 'Next'.

It now comes up with 'Do you already own a mac?'.
For some people, when you choose 'Do not transfer...' and click 'Next'. it just freezes then goes back to the welcome video/screen.
If this does not happen to you, and goes to choosing your internet settings
Skip to Step 30)
If this does happen to you, carry on to Step 25)

Step 25) So your at the 'Do you already own a Mac?' loop, forcing you to go back to the welcome video/screen.
No problem, there is a solution.

Step 26) Start up your computer
on the 'Darwin/X86' countdown press F8
and type in '-s'
and click enter.

Step 27) Once it has loaded, you will see something like this above me
KEY:
_ = Space
Type in as follows:
/sbin/mount_-uw_/ and click enter
passwd_root and click enter
It will now ask you to type in a password for the system administrator.
Type in a password of your choice, and click enter.
It will ask you to confirm that password you just type in
so type it in again, and click enter.
You may think it has frozen, and you are not type nothing.
Dont worry you cannot see what you are writing, because it does this so no-one can see you type it
but you are still typing something.
So be aware what you type because you could type in something wrong.

Step 28) Continuing from 'Step 27'
KEY:
_ = Space
Type in as follows:
touch_/var/db/.applesetupdone and click enter
You have now finished installing Mac.
Type in 'reboot'
and click enter.
Step 29) Boot up Mac, and wait for it to load.
It will now tell you to type in a username
This is where i got stuck once, where i didn't know what the username was
Anyway...
type in 'root'
for the username
and type in your password that you created
and click on login.
WARNING:
You may notice a couple of things different:
there isn't the orignal Mac OS X Leopard background
there isn't the Transparent Menu bar at the top
To get the Mac OS X Leopard background:
just ask me to send it to you
or go to a image search engine and find it there.
And for the transparent menu bar:
i do not know
to be honest, you do not really need it
i have heard many problems where people want to get rid of it, and they can't
so i think that you have an advantage not having it.
I have heard there is an update around for this, and i advise you not to update this
because it may fuck up and mess up your system
and i heard that it slows down your boot up time, so i advise you not to update this.
