The Basic Security Site (BSS) was designed to assist individual Private Security Employees just starting out in the Private Security Industry, that are seeking to acquire a greater grasp or understanding of the Industry, and/or those Security Operatives that have been in the profession for some time and are seeking to
increase their overall appreciation of the profession with regards to the training and edification of others through basic and specific training.
As a new Security Operative just starting out in Private Security, one may find many challenges along the way. Some may be more difficult than others. The goal here is to provide such information and resources that Security Operatives in the field may not feel as being forthcoming from employers or training facilitators as representive of what is relevant and/or in keeping with what is actually happening out there in the Field that Security Operatives have to deal with on a continuing basis.
Along with BSS, there is also the Basic Security Forum (BSF) discussion board. The discussion board has assembled some of the Private Security Industry's most experienced and seasoned Security Perfossionals, available to answer any questions that you may have or engage in a wide range of security-related and non-security related issues and matters. BSF represents many sectors within Private Security.
