NEW BIKE ARRIVES

My New bike arrived today 06/12/2006, heres a few pics. Makes you wonder if you have done the right thing by buying new but my red 1800 had 40,000 miles on and i do a lot of touring.The new black one looked pretty bare along side the red one so i guess i will have to start saving up again for some new parts, no lights this time though will just stick with chrome. It was sad to see the red 1800 on the back of the trailer as there was nothing wrong with her and she had loads more miles ahead of her, but you have to upgrade so heres looking forward to many happy miles on the new one.
My private registration number is due to go back on B18 WNG and a couple of new bits are already appearing, shark gills, billet rack, cruise pegs, tow bar, lighted bottom lights etc, so watch this bike transform into another nice wing hopefully.

WELCOME TO THE SITE         

Hello and welcome to my first attempt at a web site.

My name is Paul Barnes and i live in a town called Redcar in the North of England.
             
            

As you will see my first love is my 1800 Goldwing ,don't tell the wife Rachel. We try and travel to most of the Goldwing Wingdings and as many Treffens as we can, both in England and Europe, please look around the site at the many pictures i shall be adding weekly PS Don't laugh , i will have made loads of spelling mistakes and will probally make a load more.Quite a lot of the pages have music or some sort of sound, if you want to turn it off go to the bottom of the page and press the stop button.

NEW CHROME REAR LIGHT SURROUNDS

Decided to remove my Euro Stlye lights and put the original back on when i found these new Chrome surrounds.
They really make the back end look great and are quite inexpensive to buy

LIMAVADI 2005
This for me was one of the rallys of the year.The Northern Ireland people were absolutly brilliant and what a wonderfull place it is.

RACHEL & MYSELF

Both myself and Rachel are members of Border Wings, The regional section of the Goldwing Owners Club of Great Britain.

 

                                       

We meet once a month at the Hartlepool Power Station Social Club for our monthly meeting and in the summer get out straight after for a run on the bikes. All new members are welcome but you must be a member of the main club to get in.

 

KIRKLEATHAM 2005.


We were going to camp at Kirkleatham this year even though its just around the corner, but it absolutley heaved it down so i left the bike connected to the trailer and went home. All the camping gear was in the trailer but it looked good for the public.

BLACKPOOL LIGHT RUN

Heres a picture of me in Blackpool for the light run in September 2004

             

Rachel couldn't make it so i bought a friend and blew her up, tied her to the back seat

and she loved it, as did thousands of holiday makers in Blackpool who thought it was

hysterical, we called her Gizmin but she went down on the night, and then she vanished ,

but we found her in George's room.
