Some of the BBC ladies recently took part in a photoshoot for Post Office Ladies Motorcycle Insurance. This took place at Tankersley Post Office where the girls posed with their bikes for publicity photos. The Post Office kindly donated a trophy for the Show With Go.

Landlord’s Trophy - Animal Farm Challenge
This years challenge (should you be willing to take it) is to collect as many animals as possible from pub names to fill your farm yard. They can consist of any animal, bird, fish, reptile, cat, dog etc etc.
E.g.: You could have the Brown Cow which would count as one cow.
A brown cow at a different pub location would also count giving you two cows in your herd.
Please try and get photographic evidence and approx mileage from your home in case of tiebreak.
The winner will be the person with the most animals collected.
Entries’ to be in by the meeting on Wednesday 2nd July 2008 when landlord’s trophy will be presented to the winner.
Ian is organising a camping weekender to North Wales. There will be a chance to hike to the top of Snowdon (or sit in the cafe and sup tea 
)
This will take place on the weekend of 18th - 20th of July. Camping at Llanberis @ £5 a head per night. Although some of us who are too far gone for camping will be staying in a nearby B&B

Ian and Steve will be undertaking the 7 hour ascent of Snowdon on Saturday, but thankfully, this is not compulsory.
Yes, I know it's only June, but Roy thinks we should be thinking about booking the Christmas Do, and he's right. Suggestions at the next meeting or on a postcard to Roy.

Update 26th March - The gear has been ordered- unfortunately not enough people thought it would rain at the BMF (are they mad? it always rains at the BMF) so the baseball caps are out, but the rest of the clothing should be here soon.
Update April 9th - The gear has arrived and very nice it is too. So there's no excuse for that old smelly sweatshirt.
