You may be thinking..."What FABULOUS little books!! How can I get me some!?!"

Well, no fully-automated e-commerce here...not just yet, anyway. We're using the sparkly new technology to carry on our business the old-fashioned way.

Anyone firmly attached to the classical traditions of mail-order will be readily accommodated by our order processing department...only please keep in mind that personal cheques must clear our bank before the order ships and that this can take up to seven business days. Mail orders accompanied by a certified cheque or money order will receive prompt (usually 48 hours or less) shipment of their order.

**Speaking of old-fashioned business, you may actually be close to a good old bricks and mortar store that carries some or all of our books! Check out the soon to be growing list below our on-line ordering "How-To".**

2) Neatly complete the entire form and PLEASE write legibly! (You'd be shocked and appalled at what all this keyboarding has done to some people's penmanship).

3) Total up the entire order and add shipping & handling (see S&H charges below):

4) Make out a cashier's cheque or money order (if you're feeling really brave you can send carefully concealed cash, but we don't recommend it) for the entire amount payable to:

Use Canadian Currency ($CAD).

***All USA orders:***

Use American Currency ($USD).

***All other INTERNATIONAL orders:***

Use Canadian or American currency ($CAD or $USD - whichever's a better exchange for you) and then (I know it hurts!) double the shipping fee.

LEGAL *WARNING* FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - Fortunately it hasn't happened to us yet, but please be aware that customs officials in several countries (including supposed guardians of freedom like the United States and the United Kingdom), sometimes break open packages and confiscate or even destroy materials they disapprove of. This usually means specifically erotic material, but can also include alternative or underground material. In most cases there is NO recourse (including a refund from us) for the customer once the material has been seized. While we obviously sympathize, we cannot take responsibility for the oppressive practices of other countries (heck, we can't even control our own country's border-hounds), so please be aware that you order this material at your own risk, that it may be jeopardized by Orwellian customs officials and that BARKING RAVEN PRESS is not obligated to replace or refund orders that are lost as a result of such interference. Having said that, some helpful hints are: (1) Keep individual orders small (i.e. $50 or less) to reduce the chance of attracting attention and to reduce your own financial risk if your order is seized or destroyed. (2) Have your order addressed to "Mrs." whomever you are (use your first initial only and a full last name--i.e. Mrs. A. Woman), even if you are actually very much a "Mr." Apparently there is a lingering aura of respectability accrued to married ladies (even in spite of Britney Spears' farcical marital misadventures) and the increasingly rare use of the title "Mrs." tends to conjure up the image of either a wholesome maternal housewife or a retired grandmotherly type. (3) Orders we ship to you only show our return address and not our company name.

5) Put it all in a tightly sealed envelope and mail it to:

6) Sit back and wait for a happy package to arrive! It will be just like a birthday surprise (except of course you paid for it yourself, but hey...at least you know what you like)!! Just remember that we send all orders via regular surface mail (unless otherwise requested) which can take quite a long time depending on what country it's going to...so please be patient.
