Boys Club of WALES

Congartulaton to Lee Murphy (hooker), Sebastian Mellor (open side flanker) and Mark Minchington (scrum half) for being selected in the Boys Clubs of Wales squad. WELL DONE LADS 

Ospreys Under 16s Final Cut

Congratulations to backs, Jonathan Phillips, Tom Prydie, Matthew Morgan, Tom Habberfield and forwards David Saines, Rhodri Apsee and Sam Treharne for being selected in the 29 for the under sixteens Ospreys squad 2007/08. WELL DONE LADS. 

New Press Officer

Hi guys Shakeys Dad here, just taken on the Press Officers position for our team, so any ACE pics from season 2006/07 please pass them on, especially our BRILL OSPREYS cup game against Gorseignon. These lads deserve credit where credit is due. Not many teams can boast a 100% record in full games.  Also several of out lads had Bridgend and District success along with the added high of being selected for the OSPREYS region - WELL DONE LADS. Emphasis will be on on next season when we enter our last year at juniors - under sixteens. Again any "pics" will be gratefully accepted in any format. Presentation Day

Sunday 20th May saw the Bridgend Athletic RFC club house packed with players and parents from the under 15s (season 2006/07)  A superb turn out was witnessed with several honours being presented through the afternoon. Most improved forward was - Sean Derrick, with Kristian Smith receiving the most improved back award. Clubman of the year was Mark Minchington. With Under 15s Club Captain Rhodri Apsee being awarded the Players, Player of the year. Coaches Player of the year was awarded to Matthew "Nipper" Morgan. Trophies were awared by Rhys Webb (BARFC and Wales under 19s player) and Chris Davies (Newport and Wales under 20s player) Many thanks to our coaches Anthony Woodward, Brian Powell, David Murphy and Phil Morgan.
