A big day for two good sides under a blazing sun,
From the kick off Aberavon putting Bridgend under alot of pressure which payed of getting a penalty in front of the posts 3 - 0. Although Aberavon came to play Bridgend had their own ideas gainning ground through the pack bid ALED THOMAS driving over the line to score 5-3. First half Bridgend what ever they tried seemed to go pair shaped nerves and trying just to hard seemed to be the order of the day, Aberavon getting another penalty in front of the posts 6 - 5 half time.
During the interval Bridgend could see Aberavon were out on their feet from the kick off Bridgend started to play as they usualy can running the opposition off the park
Superior fitness seem to take over with a good brake from CURTIS WILLIAMS putting TOM PHILLIPS over for a good try converted by TOM CARPENTER 12 - 6. Forward play from Bridgend sapping the last bits of energy from Aberavons legs who seemed to be constantly under the cosh with a driving mall RYAN WILLIAMS getting a well deserved try 17 - 6 . As the game opened up JOSH MILES with some clever foot work and three to four blinding dummies opened the door for ALEX EVANS to go over the try line 22 - 6 . Not to be left out WILL THOMAS after a penalty from TOM CARPENTER with a good individual effort puttin the final nail in the coffin scorring under the posts which was converted by TOM CARPENTER 32 - 6 final score.
What must be said to win this trophy was a squad effort not a team all through the season all players in the squad have contributed to this win be proud boys you deserve it.
