Hello and Welcome to

Bare Necessities Rodents.

I am a small scale rodentry located in North Western Sydney.

My aim is to breed the healthiest pet rats and mice I can with fantastic temperaments to match. I hope one day to establish a quality line of Bareback Rats who will not only make great pets but with good breeding will make equally good fancy rats as well.

I reserve the right to refuse a sale for whatever reason I see fit to and to whomever I choose, with or without notice.

My 2 main reasons for refusing a sale would be if the intended owner does not have a suitable box/cage to transport the rodents home in or if you are after a female only to be used for breeding feeder rodents.

I will however offer support and advice to anyone who does adopt any rodent/s from me for the life of the animal/s and beyond if needed.

 I use and highly recommend Kintraks Animal Breeder Software to keep track of pedigrees, matings and birth details.

For bubs born with well documented history, pedigrees can be printed and handed out to new owners when adopted. For those without a pedigree line behind them, a birth certificate is handed out if or when requested.
